Couple/Family Packages
As a photographer, I enjoy capturing precious moments of my family and loved ones through my camera lens. It’s not just the images I am capturing, it’s the love that you see in the photos between those individuals that keeps me coming back for more. That is simply because you get a better quality family or couple’s portrait when there is emotion in the photos, it helps tell the story.
So if you are looking to have some amazing family or couple’s portraits taken while in San Diego, then check this out. My Couple/Family Package, which starts at $200.00 an hour includes three photos per every hour of service. Additional photos can be purchased at a cost of $30.00 per photo and can take about two-three weeks to get the final product back. Traveling cost is also not calculated into the hourly rate, that is an additional $50.00 for every 60 miles traveled outside San Diego County. Also, I do travel to Los Angeles, Orange County, Imperial County, San Bernardino County, and Riverside County for photography. So if you are looking to capture amazing moments and take advantage of the San Diego or Southern California sunset with photos you will love to show off, then don’t hesitate to reach out.
Also do not be scared, I know there are a lot or details that go into getting your perfect portrait taken, such as location, time, wardrobe, makeup, and hair. So let me try to address some of these concerns for you so your decision is much easier to make.
Location and Time
Wardrobe
We can then discuss what colors to wear based on the location you selected for the session or the mood you are looking for in your photos. A good piece of advise, select clothes with colors that match your skin tone or your eyes for a professional shoot. However, for artistic portraits, the sky is the limit because it all depends on what you want to go for in that type of portrait. Either way, I am here to help you each step of the way.
Makeup/Hair
This can be a tricky topic to cover. I say that because I am a guy, who does not wear makeup, and I only really need to focus on my hair. However, I can provide some insight on what to do before the big photo day. First, I would recommend to all the ladies/gentlemen to go to their hairstylist or barber to get a fresh cut a day before or at least a few days before your photography session. This will ensure that you look your best. Also, guys need to shave prior to the session, I mean if you want to look your best. You should also not apply any hair product that contains gel or any reflective substance. This will just case issues with the way the light reflects in the photo.
As for makeup, I am not an expert in this but I will break down what I know so you do not make any mistakes before your big day. You’re make up should be heavy/full coverage and natural looking, more than on an average day. Make sure to apply makeup that does not contain any reflective material, like SPF, because it will make your skin look pale. I do shoot with flash so wearing this type of makeup will ruin your photo. Please make sure not to apply makeup that contains SPF or any type highlighter/reflective makeup. Avoid using powder makeup and never use a base that contains a moisturizer or SPF as the base because it will reflect unintended light. Finally, make sure the makeup looks natural.
Reach Out If You Have Any Questions
I say that because I like to go over any questions or concerns with my clients before they get their photos taken by yours truly. Just remember as your friendly neighborhood San Diego photographer, I am only a phone call, text, and/or email away. All you need to do is reach out with your questions and I will be there to answer them. Because in the end I would rather you feel comfortable and confident so your inner beauty shines through in your portraits.
